       Hello and Welcome Aboard!

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope you enjoy the website and continue to stop back often as I am constantly making changes.  Visit the what's new page to see the latest additions.

January 26, 2012: Finished weathering and detailing a pair of Conrail GP38-2's for my roster.  Check out the photos in the weathered cars gallery.

January 22, 2012: Finished a new batch of NS and INRD cars this past weekend.  Check out the custom gallery for the latest additions.  I also uploaded several new locomotives to the roster.  As I get time between customer projects, I'm slowly detailing and upgrading my engines to DCC.

January 2, 2012: I finally finished the Taco Bell I had been working on for just over 2 years.  Started the project in 2009, finished it today... Pictures are in the Structures page.  Also finished an Indiana Railroad caboose today.  Next up, 16 INRD cylindrical hoppers...

December 30, 2011: Finished up 4 new engines in Great Northern colors.  I've posted pictures in the custom gallery.

December 27, 2011: I've decided to rearrange my roster a little bit and have several Kato and FVM engines available for sale.  Most are brand new and test run only.  All are in excellent condition.

December 24, 2011: Finished up another pair of Indiana Railroad engines.  This time, a pair of EMD SD70ACe's are wearing the INRD colors.

December 17, 2011: I finished up a Great Northern Fuel Tender this afternoon and also added a new page for weathered cars.  I added the first two today after spending a few days wrecking them...

December 11, 2011: Finished up some more 33K tankers in Indiana Rail Road (4 each) and a Kato F7 in Norfolk Southern colors.  I'm off to a conference this week so my next post with completed items might be closer to Christmas.

December 3, 2011: Finished the Norfolk Southern (ex-Conrail) ES44AC engine this morning.  I know it's not prototypical, but I like the Conrail Quality paint scheme and am fairly confident that they would have gotten them had the split with NS and CSX occurred a few years later.  So, that's why I went with that scheme.

November 30, 2011: Finished a pair of Providence and Worcester Enclosed Auto Racks.  These were fun to do even with all of the masking required around the posts.

November 26, 2011: Finished up another batch of cars for a customer.  Took a little longer than I would have liked, but work caught up with me at times and slowed me down a bit.

November 25, 2011: Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and survived the Black Friday shopping experience.  It's been awhile since I last updated my N Scale Roster, so I took shots of all my engines and they are now uploaded.  Some have been modified, but most are still stock.  I have one engine on the bench right now and I'll post photos of it when I'm done.

November 21, 2011: After a long layoff, I finally finished the first set of custom paint jobs since moving to Germany.  It took me a little longer to finish the projects since I'm working at a full time job again...

October 1, 2011: At this time, the detailing and paint shop is OPEN.  Please feel free to send in your requests to brian (at) briansnscale.com and I'll get back to you as quickly as possible.  Turn around might be a little slower due to the expanded sports seasons my boys are in.  I'll do my best to keep up with the pace I set while at Fort Leavenworth.

I've added a quick search button on the side of the home page.  This is the only page it's found on and does not collect or store any data that I'm aware of.

Below is my new workshop in the basement of our house.  It's a nice area to work in with lots of ventilation and light during the day.  The paint booth is off to the left and vents to the outside. The wall opposite this one will have a small 2'x12' shelf layout attached to it.  My son has been dying to build one since he got straight A's at school last year (part of my deal with him when I left for Saudi Arabia).
