This is a stock Kato unit that was
stripped, painted and super detailed with
additional parts. I also added ditch lights by running
fiber optics to the decoders light. I used Modelflex MP
Blue and NP Yellow for the paint job. Microscale provided
the decals.
I'll provide a separate page on how I
installed the fiber optic ditch lights. It basically
followed the same procedures Jim Reising used on his
Dash 8's with a few minor
modifications to fit the F40.
