New York, Ontario & Western

 

F7 #823 and 824

 

This is a pair of Kato F3 shells that I painted for the New York, Ontario & Western.  I used Polly Scale paints and decals from Microscale to complete this pair.  The grill work kept me from painting the upper stripe so I ended up using a decal.  I only had the shells to work with this time, which explains the photos on top of the paint bottles...

 

 

 

 

The customer I did these for sent me photos of the newly painted engines on his layout.  Three of the four are custom painted.  The lone factory painted unit is the Intermountain FT unit (second from the right).
